As winter continues to set in and the temperatures drop, the cold and freezing air is unmistakably miserable. When these changes in the weather happen most of us run for cover putting on layers of sweaters, scarves, gloves and long john underwear. To top all these things off is a nice steaming mug of hot chocolate.
This year we have sold more promotional coffee and hot chocolate mugs than ever before. We are thanking the weatherman every time we see below freezing temps in Utah, which happens a lot. Now, we are a promotional product company but that does not mean that we cannot throw out some amazing hot chocolate recipes, I mean we live in Utah if you know what I mean.
Here are five amazing hot chocolate recipes to keep you warm all winter:
The Red Velvet Hot Chocolate Mix: This mix is full of color, the color red. Uses real chunks of chocolate, pure vanilla and whipped cream. My mouth is watering, is yours?
The Almond Joy Hot Chocolate Mix: Chocolate chunks, almond milk and fresh coconut will create a replica of Almond Joy for you to drink. Taste meets appearance with this combo!
The White Fudge Oreo Hot Chocolate Mix: All you need is chocolate chips, milk and two (I suggest more) white fudge Oreos. This is a great new spin on a classic hot chocolate recipe. Think old school thoughts when drinking this mix.
The Thin Mints Hot Chocolate Mix: The Girl Scouts got it right with this recipe. This mix had to make the list. Chocolate and mints have been together as long, if not longer, than the Girl Scout cookies. Drinking this out of a mug mixed hot chocolate basically define the term classic.
These are just five simple hot chocolate recipe. Do you have any better recipes than these mentioned above? If so let me know in the comments below.
